Glassy, tormented eyes watch over the late night revelers in the River North Arts District, a.k.a. Five Points, one of Denver’s historically Black neighborhoods that continues to face rapid gentrification.

"We are here today because the ceasefire isn't enough. We are here today because Gaza is still under siege," community organizer Nadeen Ibrahim told a crowd of hundreds today in #Denver.⁣

Hundreds gathered at the Colorado state Capitol in #Denver on Friday to stand in solidarity with #Palestine as the number of people killed in Gaza rises. On the heels of the event, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 10 in a refugee camp, mostly children, and destroyed a high-rise tower housing offices of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera.⁣
